City of Belfast Guided Tours offer comprehensive, in depth, educational tours for visitors to the city on a half day or full day basis.
The only way to experience Belfast is to partake in its living history with a tour guide who was formerly a taxi driver before, during and after the recent period of conflict. The tour will include the famous Belfast murals, their meaning and significance will be explained. The causes of the conflict and the peace process are also covered. The tour then proceeds through the new vibrant Belfast, the city we all love and are proud of, not just the city, but the entire country which elevated itself from a "no-go area" to an international tourist destination.
The visitor is welcome to ask as many questions and take as many photographs as they wish.
All vehicles are maintained to D. O. E. (NI) standard and drivers are PSV Licensed.
The Tour Guide holds a 2:1 Honours Degree from The Queens University Belfast in Economic and Social History, London City and Guilds Certificate in Tourism, Welcome Host Badge, Health and Safety training and has an unique knowledge and insight of local history and environmental issues.
The company also provides trained tour guides for coach tours and parties.
